The Clerk of the Circuit Court is the custodian of the records.
The Records Management Division is responsible for the life cycle of records for the Clerk’s office, from filing to imaging to final disposition. Records with permanent retention such as Court Dockets, Official Records, and financial documents are imaged for archival purposes as set forth by Florida Statutes.
This office maintains closed court files representing Circuit and County Civil, Small Claims, Juvenile, Probate, Circuit and County Criminal and Traffic.
Flagler County’s early governmental records dating back to 1917 are in the Records Management Division and available for viewing. Probate records, court records and journals, marriage licenses, tax records and County Commission meeting books are included in the many historical records available at the Kim C. Hammond Justice Center, 1769 E. Moody Blvd., Bldg. 1, Bunnell, FL 32110. The Records Management Office is located on the first floor.
Clerks in Records will search records upon request. The fee is $2.00 per year per name. Copies are $1.00 per page; certification, $2.00 per document.
