Child Support

You can make Child Support payments online! Go to pay.flaglerclerk.com to send a payment directly to the Flagler Clerk’s office. You may also place a payment over the phone by calling our Child Support Payment line at (386) 338-0631.

Additional options for online payments include myfloridacounty.com or the Florida Department of Revenue’s Child Support website childsupport.floridarevenue.com.

The Child Support Division is located in Clerk of the Court offices, Civil Department, second floor, of the Kim C. Hammond Justice Center. You may contact the Child Support Division by calling 386-313-4480 or email childsupport@flaglerclerk.com

The Child Support Division is responsible for:

  • Initially setting up the child support case,
  • Maintaining a written record of all Court hearings,
  • Tracking the payment history and
  • Maintaining records on arrearages.

The clerks can assist you with reviewing and/or obtaining a copy of your payment history. All written requests for information are processed in the Civil Division of the Clerk’s Office, and requests should be forwarded to:

Service Charges established by Florida Statutes may be applicable to requested information.

If you have a change in name or address (form available online) or any other personal information which may affect your child support payments or the child support record, you are responsible for notifying the Clerk’s Office. Your changes should be put in writing, signed, notarized and mailed with proof of the name change to:

The State of Florida Disbursement Unit

The State of Florida Disbursement Unit (FLSDU) was established by the Title IV-D Agency to provide one central address for the collection and disbursement of child support payments in cases enforced by the Department of Revenue pursuant to Title IV-D of the Social Security Act. Support orders initially issued in Florida after January 1, 1994, in which the obligor’s child support is being paid through an Income Deduction Order (IDO) are also collected and disbursed by the FLSDU.

Child Support payments required to be paid through the FLSDU should be sent to:

The payment to the State of Florida Disbursement Unit should include:
Your full name (first, middle and last), your Social Security Number, the case number and the county code for the county where the court order was entered.

Disbursement

The FLSDU is required to disburse child support payments within 48 hours of receipt. If the Court has ordered child support payments to be paid through the FLSDU directly to you, you may wish to expedite receipt of the payment through the use of Direct Deposit available at www.myfloridacounty.com/services/child_support/

To find out if the child support payment has been received or sent out by the FLSDU:

You may call toll-free 1-877-769-0251 24 hours a day to find out if a payment has been received or disbursed by the FLSDU. You will be required to enter your Social Security Number and case number. If you are a payor, the voice response unit provides information on the last payment received. If you are a payee, the voice response unit provides information on the last payment issued to you. Be sure to have the case number when calling this number. The last five payments issued are available at myfloridacounty.com.
