Flagler County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller Announces Inaugural Valentine’s Day Marriage Ceremony

Tom Bexley, Flagler County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, announced the first of what will become an annual event to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

“I am hopeful that our Valentine’s Day Group Wedding event will become a memorable occasion that many in the community will look forward to and we will be thankful to the couples who will allow us to participate in their special day”, said Clerk Bexley.

The planned event will consist of a single ceremony that will unite all couples in attendance and will be performed by Clerk Bexley himself. The couples and their guests will celebrate with cake and refreshments provided by local sponsors.

Mr. Bexley has waived the normal $30.00 ceremony fee; however, standard license fees will still apply. To participate, couples must first sign-up no later than February 9th in order to comply with state mandated time requirements.

In order to be eligible to register for this event, application for marriage licenses must be made between December 18th 2017 and February 9th 2018. To apply for a marriage license online, please visit our Marriage Kiosk. The ceremony will take place at noon on the steps of the Flagler County Justice Center located at 1769 East Moody Blvd, Building #1 in Bunnell, Florida. Couples will receive a special official Certificate of Marriage commemorating the special day. The certificates will be mailed within one week from the date of the ceremony.
