Flagler County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller Announces Valentine’s Day Marriage Ceremony
Tom Bexley, Flagler County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, announced the second on what has become an annual event to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
“This is the second of what will be an annual event. Last year’s inaugural ceremony was a memorable occasion that really was special for us and the participants. We hope the community will look forward to celebrating with us.” Clerk Bexley said. We are always thankful to the couples who allow us to participate in their day, and if last year’s event is any indication, this one will be equally as special”
The planned event will consist of a single ceremony that will unite all couples in attendance and will be performed by Clerk Bexley himself. The couples and their guests will celebrate with refreshments which will be provided at the end of the ceremony.
Mr. Bexley has waived the normal $30.00 ceremony fee; however, standard license fees will still apply. To participate, couples must first sign-up no later than December 21st in order to comply with state mandated time requirements.
In order to be eligible to register for this event, application for marriage licenses must be made between December 21st 2018 and February 11h 2019. To apply for a marriage license online, please visit our Marriage Kiosk.
The ceremony will take place at noon on the steps of the Flagler County Justice Center located at 1769 East Moody Blvd, Building #1 in Bunnell, Florida and will be limited to the first 25 couples who apply. Couples will receive a special Certificate of Marriage commemorating the special day. The certificates will be given at the end of the ceremony.
