Tom Bexley, Flagler County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller announced that the Clerk’s office will reopen its doors this coming Monday, June 8th and will resume its operations to the public.
“With the opening, our office will operate according to the phase 2 guidelines recently established by Governor DeSantis. This will incorporate among other things, social distancing, the mandatory wearing of masks and hourly cleaning in places where the public does business,” Clerk Bexley said.
For the last few months, the Flagler County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s office has operated under the guidelines provided by the state’s Supreme Court and the Center for Disease Control.
“The health and safety of our courthouse staff and the public continues to be our top priority. However, we must make sure that continued access to the judiciary and to the Clerk of Court & Comptroller’s services are maintained,” Clerk Bexley went on to say.
In keeping with the health and safety of all involved, the phase 2 guidelines established by the Governor to reopen the state will be maintained until further notice.
